AGENDA 2012: DAY TWO August 3 2012
I’ve been going to Agenda for a few years now. It started off as just a photo opp for the blogs I write for. But my roles have evolved into something a bit more significant, and I can honestly say that this last one was the best one. Even after three days on our feet, missed meals because of back to back appointments, the rushing and the waiting games, it was still fulfilling. The journey is the reward, right? I’ve seen the show grow in numbers and in location and through that, I saw myself grow in relationships and in taking risks.
I left with more than what I came with this time around. I learned: Jump in. Steel definitely sharpens steel. Relationships mean everything. I’m really good at penalty kicks. I can actually function with only an apple and half a granola bar in my stomach, as long as I keep moving. Even more rare than me functioning on only that, is finding a real partner in crime, and I got that. I owe a lot to Backside for always helping me get my feet into doors. I want Jeff Staple to be my best friend. Chivalry is not dead. Cab drivers have licenses to kill?!? The universe is on my side.
And with all that, here are some photos from the final day at Agenda. Our full recap is on TASTEMAKERS.
