PASADENA TO GLENDALE July 19 2012
Made a couple rounds last night. My first stop was Stemulated Studios with Jon and Garfield Adams. They’re working on their Daly City show on August 4.
Jon just got the new Samsung Galaxy and can’t seem to take his hands off it. I don’t blame him. The thing is pretty cool, like when he was trying to text me but instead he wanted to call me so all he had to do was put the phone to his ear. Siri don’t do that.

Garfield Adams will be Jon’s DJ that night, so he was behind the tables instead of the boards last night.

A friend of mine graciously gifted me with boxes of Tim Tams from Australia. I brought one over. They ate it in like 2 minutes.

This looked better than the obligatory shoe shot I have of the three of us.

Then I was off to see the new Oishi Media setup. They revamped their office space with a 52” television and a couch right in front of it. It’ll be easier for their clients to engage and interact when they are discussing video work. I just wanted to see the blog that big.

Remember when I wrote about Truth Studios a couple days ago and talked about the kind of dynamic they had? I saw it again with Duel and Starskee. Besides having each others’ backs, they never let the other lose sight of Oishi Media’s mission, they never let ideas go to waste.

They just filmed Bambu’s video for “Sermon”, the first single off the upcoming album, ...one rifle per family (shout out my dude Esta for producing the track!!). The props were all over the place, like this heavy ass piece of machinery.
