Our favorite moment at Agenda had to be interviewing jeffstaple - the owner of Staple Design. It was something that happened by accident, yet we left with so much more than what we came with. Plain and simple, the guy is really cool. He’s so cool that we want him to be our best friend. How he started, what he has created in the last 15 years, what he’s doing, and what he plans for the future are nothing short of amazing.
We didn’t have our voice recorder with us, so when we started the interview, I used my iPhone. I’m a new iPhone user. I still haven’t gotten hip to all of its capabilities, and thought that the video recorder was the best way to document. Jeff thought otherwise, took my phone, and showed us how to use the voice memos app. It resulted in clear audio, and a new title to Jeff’s ever growing resume - tech support. We spent a good hour with him, learning his story, his quirks, his accomplishments. It was probably our most personal interview to date. He opened up in his answers, and we opened up to the lessons he was indirectly teaching us.
We were so proud of ourselves when it was over. With only an hour to prepare, Jeff said it was a good interview and even compared us to Nardwuar. But what we’re most proud of is being able to share this with you. Read HERE.
